17th Oct – Shanghai Rolex Master

The best sporting experience that I have ever had!! So glad I came for the Shanghai Rolex Master tennis. It was the final between Roger Federer and Andy Murray =] The tennis court was really far. We reached around 2 plus. Took a lot of silly photos. Kok Chuan, Ben and myself also painted our face with the free service there =] I was the only one cheering for Andy Murray that night. Ben, Kok Chuan, Steven and Kok Soon were all supporting Federer. And of course, the crowd were 90% Federer’s supporters as well. But too bad, Andy was a better player that night. He saved many amazing shots. And also overcame double breakpoint to win the game TWICE!! Andy’s average serve of 200+ km/h was also the key. Federer was not there. The scoreline of 6-3, 6-2 looked harsh on Federer, but there were closer moments. The game lasted for 1.5 hours only, although we were all hoping for a 3 sets final. After the game, we mingled around the shops and also waited about 45 minutes for the players to reappear for an autograph/photo session. However, we could not last more than that and left to go for our dinner. We were all like hungry ghost. After a fulfilling meal, we all go our separate way and call it a day, since everyone was already dropped dead.
